I'm Areeja, 23, born and raised in Mumbai. This city is genuinely home to me, not just where I work. I grew up on Marine Drive walks and Sunday markets, so I still like showing people around when they're new here.

I smile easily and I mean it when I do. People tell me that a lot, actually. I like dressing up properly for a date rather than throwing something on last minute; if you've seen my photos you'll notice I lean traditional when I get the chance, kurtas and a bit of jewellery over anything flashy.

I get booked a fair amount as one of the air hostess-style companions, though I've never actually worked on a plane. I think it's more about how I carry myself. I speak English and Hindi comfortably, and I'm a good listener if you'd rather just talk over dinner.
